How to set up proxy in Firefox browser

Setting up a proxy in your web browser is an excellent choice if you prioritize privacy and security while browsing the internet. Once you have completed the setup process, you can enable the proxy whenever necessary, or you can save time by adding the proxy to your browser's settings.

Firefox proxy settings:

  1. Open Firefox menu and select Settings (or Preferences on a Mac OS X)

  1. Scroll down until you find the “Network Settings” section and then click on Settings.
  2. Check the Manual proxy configuration box and enter these proxy details:

  • port: 80
