How Webshare Rotating Proxies Work
Webshare offers two flexible ways to manage IP rotation depending on how you want to use your proxies.
Rotating Proxy Endpoint
A connection method that cycles through the proxies already in your account instead of assigning new ones. It works with Datacenter proxies, ISP proxies, and Rotating Residential proxies.
Rotating Residential Proxies
A residential plan billed by bandwidth, backed by an 80M+ pool of real residential IPs with country, city, state, ZIP and ASN targeting. Same login every time - the IP behind it refreshes automatically.
Use the Endpoint Generator to customize session type, location targeting, and authentication.
Buy Rotating Proxy
You can customize your rotation between every 5 minutes to every month.

Frequently Asked Questions
A rotating proxy is a setup that changes the IP behind your connection instead of holding one indefinitely.
At Webshare, that’s two different things. The Rotating Proxy Endpoint cycles through proxies already in your account. Rotating Residential is a separate plan backed by an 80M+ residential pool that refreshes automatically.
The Rotating Proxy Endpoint cycles through the proxies already in your account instead of generating new ones. It works the same way across Proxy Servers, Static Residential, and Rotating Residential accounts. The only thing that changes is the source pool.
Rotating Residential Proxies route your traffic through one gateway address backed by an 80M+ pool of real residential IPs. The gateway picks the IP for you: a new one on every request with a rotating session, or the same one held for a while with a sticky session. You choose the session type in the Endpoint Generator. The plan is billed by bandwidth, not per IP.
Rotating Residential supports targeting by country, city, state, ZIP code, and ASN. See Rotating Residential Proxies for the specific rules and limitations on each.
Yes. In the Endpoint Generator, set your session type to Rotating. Every request then goes out through a different IP.
